“Ask, and it will be given you” — Matthew 7:7
Prayers for Every Need
Beloved prayers to Jesus, Mother Mary, the angels and the saints — for health, money worries, work, family, protection, lost things and the hardest situations. Choose a need below.
How Christians understand these prayers. Catholics and Orthodox ask the saints and angels to pray for them, just as we ask friends to pray for us — all graces come from God through Jesus Christ. No prayer is magic or “guaranteed”; God answers in the way that is best for us. Prayer goes together with action: for illness, always see a doctor; for money problems, seek honest help and advice.
Most prayers here are traditional texts used for generations (marked Traditional). A few short prayers are marked Simple prayer — these were written for this site in plain words for saints whose traditional prayers are long or vary between countries. You can always pray in your own words: God hears every honest prayer.
